32 different cities across the globe with one start time. In its second year, the Wings for Life World Run returns to the City of Santa Clarita and will serve as the only west coast host city.
Onsite registration begins Sunday, May 7 from 2:30 a.m.-3:30 a.m. at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
100% of all proceeds from the race go towards spinal cord research.
The top male and female finisher from the Santa Clarita event will earn a spot in any race venue next year, and the top runner overall wins a trip around the world.
Wings for Life World Run is a race like no other. Participants around the world in 32 locations across the globe will at start at exactly the same time (4 a.m. PST). Thirty minutes after the race begins, a “catcher car” will be deployed on the course. Once the chase car passes you, your race is over, thus the finish line chases you. Whether you are a novice runner or a hardened marathoner, who could resist running wild through the streets of Santa Clarita in the middle of the night?
