As our community grows and changes, it becomes necessary from time to time to revisit the City of Santa Clarita Municipal Code and make modifications and improvements to meet those changes. Please join the City for an open house on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Century Room at City Hall to discuss the proposed changes to the Santa Clarita Municipal Code. This is an opportunity for members of our community to meet with staff, have any questions answered and provide valuable feedback on these proposed changes.
The changes being proposed have been identified both by the community through various public outreach efforts as well as by City staff. The changes include deleting redundant codes, amending current codes and the adoption new codes. The sections of the Municipal Code that are proposed to be updated are available below in PDF format with the changes highlighted.
Title 1 – General Provisions
Title 10 – Environmental Protection
Title 11 – Public Peace and Welfare (Filming)
Title 11 – Public Peace and Welfare (Graffiti)
Title 14 – Parks and Other Public Places
Title 15 - Utilities
Title 23 – Neighborhood Preservation
If you have questions about the proposed changes, you may contact Armine Chaparyan at email@example.com or (661) 286-4141.
